I don't have that many scenes cut in Lightworks (maybe 15 or 20) but I'd rather save myself the work if I can. I was able to go into my really old project in premiere and import the media from the XML files, so I have most of my structure back, but without most of my logging. Export the image sequence, then in the export settings change the format. Meaning all of the files will be named movie dash six digit sequence number dot tga. This will be the prefix for the image files that Lightworks creates. The timelines would come across but the footage wouldn't link, even if I already had it in the project, and even if I ignored the file extension (file names haven't changed, but I was trying everything). Select the new folder as your destination folder and also set the name to something short and simple, like movie. I tried Final Cut XML, AAF, EDL and none of them worked. I have been editing my feature film in Lightworks (after ditching Premiere) and had always planned to do my grade in Resolve. I know this is more of a Lightworks question than Resolve, but maybe someone has an idea. ![]()
